The development of New Materials and their engineering for a wide range of applications matured to an important key technology of this decade. They are important drivers for creating innovations in several sectors, including medical technology, energy technology or the aviation and space industry. To be able to meet constantly rising demands of users, the development of new materials requires a closer and result-oriented cooperation throughout branches and technologies / technological sectors.
Considering these important aspects the University of Rostock organizes the already 8th symposium „Materials’ Days“. The symposium will take place in Rostock, Germany, on 7th and 8th May 2012. The aim of the Materials’ Days Rostock is to provide firsthand information on selected technical topics with a strong focus on industrial applications and to enable even more intensive networking between leading experts from industry and science to further improve competitiveness. Offering a crossindustry orientation the symposium focuses on state-of-the-art functional materials, material composites and efficient manufacturing processes for applications in biomedicine, energy technology and the renewable energies.
The two days symposium will cover the full range of topics related to
Highlights will be contributions on
During the two days of the symposium there will be sufficient time for vivid exchange and discussion of ideas with experts from science, industry and politics.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the 8. Materials’ Days in Rostock!
