Nanoparticles: Environmental and Health Aspects
Abstract:
Nanotechnology promises to have great benefits for society, yet there is increasing concern that human and environmental exposure to engineered nanomaterials may result in significant adverse effects.
Advances in nanotechnology is likely to significantly benefit society and the
Economy. Despite the encouraging future of nanotechnology, there is increasing concern that human exposure to some types of engineered nanoparticles, may lead to significant adverse health effects. In addition, there is concern of environmental contamination and associated effects on ecosystems, which could have significant societal implications. On the basis of above concerned the present talk will deal the following areas:
- The source of nanoparticles in the Environment
- The effect of nanoparticles on the environment and indirect correlation with human health problem.
- Route of exposure to human.
- Health impact of nanoparticles due to direct exposure.
